Cities and towns
Toulouse
This city is also called “La Ville Rose” because of the color of the bricks. It is the fifth largest city in France. Toulouse is a lively, trendy city with many sights, architecture, nice shops and cozy restaurants and is located on the River Garonne and the Canal du Midi. The large number of beautiful historical monuments and buildings ensure that you can stroll around this city all day long.
Lectoure
In our opinion, Lectoure is one of the nicest and most beautiful towns to visit during your holiday with us. The town was already inhabited in prehistoric times. You can discover this further during a museum visit. Sights: Cathedral from the fifteenth century, many beautiful old buildings and old streets with cozy shops. And a beautiful view over the surrounding landscape.
Auch
Auch is known as one of the most beautiful old towns in the Midi-Pyrénées region. In the old city center you can walk through the old, medieval streets and find many shops and cozy restaurants. Various sights: Escalier monumental. These are old stairs with 234 steps. From the top there is a beautiful view over the Gers valley. On clear days you can see the Pyrenees. At the bottom of the stairs is a bronze statue of d’Artagnan, one of the king’s most famous musketeers.
Fleurance
The beautiful market square is surrounded by arcades, typical of bastide towns. On Tuesdays there is a market on the square with regional specialties. Places of interest: the Eglise Saint-Laurent and in the vicinity, Villa de Séviac, the Abbey of Flaran and the castle of Lavardens.
